Ships and Bridges!

We had a great time today clowning around at the Portland Rose Festival.. Our first event of many I am sure! Today we went to see the ships and walk over one of the bridges.

We had to stop and take a picture in front of the Hawthorn Bridge which we would be walking over after we visited a few ships first.

The "Lady Washington" which played "Interceptor" in the first Pirates of the Caribbean Movie Behind her is the Hawaiian Frontier... We all had a fun tour....

On Board there was a lot to see, and since the Pirates actually live on the "Lady Washington" all year long it is one of the few actual operating ships like this one....

Eventually we walked over the Hawthorne Bridge and saw the Nina which was also in one of the Pirates Movies.

There was a Bungee-Jump ride--of terror on the Waterfront and from the top of the Bridge I found it interesting to catch this photo with feet dangling down between the top of the city buildings... No Way on Earth I would get on one of those things....!

We had a great day of fun, exercise and I am starting to deal with the lose of the good Old Real Photography tools I can't use any more and starting to learn to use this digital junk ... It is fun to snap 300 pictures and not have to develop them to see what I have....

Nice Day and a few New Memories.....
