...building steps...

Motto of the Week: Building

Marty has been working on some kind of project in the corner, under the birch trees for days now. I can sit here and write while I watch him busy at work moving things around and hammering. Daddy built a small retaining wall to be sure Marty doesn't spill out on the streets.

This week has been all about building up.

We have considered the economy and made some changes to our investments and some decisions about what we will do for the next year and a half. The housing market has changed and the two rentals are going to need a different approach. I believe that if people decide to downsize that both of them need to be fixed up and ready for those people who are smart enough to get out and downsize.

I am getting ready to go and build up the site and warming up... so it the weather thank goodness.

My houseplants are looking wonderful and I have just a few more little things and we will have everything decorated the way I want it... and it is time to decide what will be going on this summer. Oh my!

I will be adding a few more links here and there and then move on to the new website stuff... Ugh! We all seem to have some kind of OCD in this family. My meeting with Dr Joe went well and we talked -- he told me that I have a healthy attitude about the situation and that I am doing a good job...that felt good.

so I am off to walk the steps of today!
